Be an Accessories Pro with These Tips
Most of us are still working from home and over Zoom so it’s very easy to slip into the rut of showing up for your meetings looking a little disheveled or to simply turn off your camera. Because I believe that feeling good helps raise your confidence level I wanted to give a few tips about simple ways to use accessories so you can show up on your Zoom meetings confidently.

Accessories have the potential to bring so much oomph to your outfit or your top half when on Zoom. Great accessories help you accentuate your style and bring you confidence. These tips will help you be an accessory wiz in no time!
1. Use your accessories to punctuate your style. For example, look at the finishes on jewelry pieces. A textured matte finish is more natural looking. A smooth shiny finish is more sophisticated or traditional. If your style is more creative, you may want to wear shiny and matte finishes together.

2. Use color in small or large doses. One bold-colored bangle mixed with two black or two white ones adds a hint of drama to an outfit. An arm filled with brightly colored bangles is very dramatic.

3. When you buy a new outfit think about what kind of accessories you’ll need to “finish” the outfit. If possible, don’t leave your shopping cart or the store without figuring out what accessories you need. When you neglect that step, you may end up weeks later with those new clothes in your closet and price tags still hanging on them.

4. Accessories are a way to spice up solids. Necklaces are great accents over solid-colored T-shirts, sweaters, or tops. Layer multiple necklaces for more style emphasis or mix a necklace with a fun scarf.

5. If you mix patterns and prints in the same outfit, you may choose to wear fewer pieces of jewelry. Your clothing may be bringing all the interest you need. In that case, focus on your earrings, rings, or chains to add minimal layering to what’s already going on.

6. Boho earrings look great with boho dresses. Traditional jewelry looks great with traditionally cut tops and pants. Unless you’re very artistic or like to mix multiple styles to create a visual masterpiece, let your clothing style help you decide the style of accessories you’ll wear with them.

7. Department stores may not offer the selection you need in order to own accessories that resonate with you. Try other sources such as off-price stores like TJ Maxx or Marshall’s. Consider shopping consignment stores or estate sales. Walk the aisles of a gem show or an art show. If you find something you love, think through how many outfits you could wear it with. If you’re up to five outfits, you’ll be purchasing something that you will get a lot of value out of. If it can only be worn with one thing you own, it may not be the right investment unless you LOVE it.

8. Like clothing, accessories need to be reviewed. Sort through your collection and re-home, consign, or donate the pieces that really don’t inspire you anymore.

9. Accessories can be altered or redesigned. If you have a necklace that’s too long, have it shortened. If a necklace is too short, add an extender. If the closure is too hard to manage, take your necklace to a jeweler and see if they can change it to a magnetic closure. Necklaces that have too many things hanging from it could be made to look more current by removing parts of it. Don’t be afraid to make changes yourself or take them to someone who can. You could get much more life out of something you already own but aren’t wearing.

Is it time for you to address your accessories? Don’t forget I’m here to help! Whether it’s helping you go through what you already have or shopping for accessories to finish outfits you own, I can help. Just give me a call!

5 Ways To Lift Your Spirts

Hey guys,

Here in CA we are still under pretty strict SIP orders.  I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy.  What crazy times we are living in!!  I have been busy working both my businesses in new ways.  One thing that has kept me busy are my weekly YouTube Videos.  Here is this weeks video.  If you enjoy it, I would love to have you subscribe and be part of my community over on YouTube where I publish new videos weekly.

5 Ways To Lift Your Spirts

These are tough times. When I check in with friends, everyone seems to be experiencing the same mix of feelings and emotions: worry, fear, crankiness, trying to stay positive, and more. But alongside those emotions, there are bright spots, moments of kindness, surprise, and delight. While there’s so much we can’t do anything about, there are things that can bring comfort. I have created a list of ideas for you and I hope it helps to lift your spirits.

Examples of how to transform your closet during a life transition
Examples of how to transform your closet during a life transition

1. Are you a music person? While at home, you may still be working or you may be home schooling but don’t forget to have some YOU time.   Think about putting on some music and tackle that project of getting in your closet and really giving it a good spring cleaning. Let the music be your friend while getting things done. A clean and organized closet feels awesome and is a great way to lift your spirits.

2. In your old day-to-day life, you may have had a morning routine of skin care and makeup application before leaving for work or errands. Now that you may have a little more time on your hands think about pulling out those samples that stores give you when you make purchases. They’re probably stashed deep inside a cabinet in your vanity. Try that cleanser, apply that mask, see how you like a brand’s eye cream. This pampering could provide a healthy beauty break in your day.

3. This is the perfect time to wear an accessory that was given to you by a friend or relative. Every time you notice it, you’ll think of them.  Maybe even schedule a Zoom Chat, it will make them feel great to know you are wearing their gift and lift their spirts too.

4. When things are out of your control–like finding a vaccine for the Coronavirus–focusing on what you can control can bring you some peace. More than ever, this could be the right time to get up every morning, put on a cute and comfy outfit, add jewelry, apply makeup, and wear a pair of shoes that aren’t your workout tennis shoes.

5. Create a date night with your family. Since you’re home most of the day, consider lifting your spirits by changing into something special for dinner, setting the table with your nice dishes, and serving a family favorite. It really works…Tom and I have had a few date nights!

This period will pass. Months from now, you’ll likely remember some of the sweet moments you shared with friends, relatives, or even strangers. Maybe you’ll reflect on how well you took care of yourself as you navigated through uncertainty.

I hope these tips have provided you some ways to create memories and to be kind to yourself during such a difficult time. Take care, stay well, and know I’m here for you if you want help online!  I have helped clients online over the last number of weeks by cleaning out closets and deciding what to keep and what to let go of, creating outfits, helping clients find their personal style by creating their style story, teaching classes for company Lunch & Learns, and much more!

Missing the Salon??

If you are missing your hair stylist, getting your nails done or getting your waxing done here is a video I made a few weeks ago that will give you some great products to create a home spa experience!

In the meantime, I know many of us are dreaming of the days we can start going out with friends, out to dinner or even to events we love.  So I wrote this article about some of my favorite trends for spring 2020 to keep you inspired.

Be Prepared To Have Fun with
Spring Fashion

As winter is starting to fade away and spring is rolling in, we’re ready to see our favorite flowers bursting with blooms. Warmer weather invites us to spend more time outdoors even if it’s in our own backyard, and not at the beach.

Can you feel the fun in the air? To go along with that joyous mood, I have some fashion ideas to entice you to soak up what this season has to offer.

1. Wear dots. Nothing announces spring like polka dots. Stick to the classic black and white polka dots or look into other color mixes: Black and yellow, Biscay green and pink, or orange and tan. The larger-scaled polka dot is more dramatic, while the small-scaled polka dots can be more sophisticated. Play with the scale of your dots this season.  Honestly even mixing two sizes can be fun!

floryday.com

2. Capri pants. You may want some professional style advice to get the right proportions for a great pair of capri pants. For some, knees aren’t always a favorite part of the body to show. The capri pant covers them while being near enough to the knee to show off your shapely calves. It’s a win-win. Capris can be quite fun in funky patterns, or you can choose a pair in a bright solid color.

3. Monochrome dressing. Wearing one color or shades of one color from head-to-toe isn’t a new concept. What feels fresh and new about wearing a monochromatic outfit is the amazing spring colors you can choose to wear it in. We’re probably all familiar with head-to-toe black, white, gray, or tan. But this look becomes very exciting if you’re choosing to wear a color like saffron, orange peel or grape compote. It’s simple: pick a color you love and wear all your outfit pieces in shades of that color.

4. Peplum tops. They are back this spring and if you had a choice of wearing a cropped top or a peplum top, chances are you’d go for the peplum. That silhouette of coming in at the waist and then flaring out over the hips is quite flattering. You can wear this shape if you have a waist, and if you don’t have a definite waist definition, you can use this shape to fake it. Most peplum tops show a more relaxed silhouette: not too tight at the waist. Pair this top with a pair of jeans, and you’re dressed. Talk about easy dressing!

5. Metallics and sequins. You may be someone like me who loves the holidays because you get a chance to shine bright, wearing a metallic jacket, sequined top, metallic flats, and wearing them all together. Well, this season you can wear metallic or sequins on Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, and any other day. A metallic dress is beautiful for a special occasion. Bermuda shorts that are sequined are another dressy option designers came up with. Metallic shoes and handbags are often perfect solutions for when you wear colorful prints. I love them because they really go with any outfit.  We’re still in a time when dressy and casual pieces are worn together. A metallic or sequined loose jacket can add class to any jean outfit. You can choose a silver, gold, or bronze legging to wear with tunic tops. Have fun playing with this idea.

Are you ready to enjoy the new fashion season? I’d love to help you choose some looks that will make you shine. Whether we work in your closet with what you already have or plan to shop for a few pieces to add to your wardrobe, I’m here to help online now or in person when the shelter in place is lifted. Just give me a call.

Spring or Winter? March 2020

Spring or Winter?
What to wear while the seasons change!

Brooch on jean jacket

Here in CA we are having days where it’s 80 degrees followed by days of 50 degrees so just what the heck do you wear?!?  Are you still in dark cozy sweaters dreaming about when you can be wearing lighter, brighter spring clothes?  I want to offer you ways to wear what you have, but with a twist toward spring! Ready for a style lift? Here goes!

Take a look at your winter coats. Do you have one or two coats that are lighter in color and weight? Instead of wearing your black coat, you could opt for one in light gray, beige, or a shade of teal.

If you’re wearing warm, plaid scarves around your neck, rummage through your scarf collection and see if some of them have light-colored backgrounds. The lighter the background color, the more spring-like the vibe will be.  Also think about the material of the scarf and instead of opting for wool choose a lighter weight cotton on warmer days.

This spring you’ll be seeing capes, ponchos, and shawls in the stores. A fun idea is to accessorize your coat (on days you need it) with a large shawl draped over your shoulders on the outside of your coat. This is an opportunity to “dress up” your winter coat and give it in a “wow” look using brighter colors and prints.

Tops in floral prints or polka dots give off a spring feel and if you add a denim jacket over the top it will be a great weight for this transition time.  Brooches are big for spring. Don’t hesitate to add a few to your jean jacket.

Did you get into plaid and check patterned clothing items this fall? If so, go ahead and pair those floral prints and polka dot tops with your longer, plaid jackets or plaid pants. Not all plaids or checks are equal. Choose to wear the ones that have lighter colors in them for spring.  Pattern mixing is a ton of fun and you can see my YouTube Video here where I teach you the basics steps to do it!

How to Mix Patterns! Outfit ideas to mix patterns and prints.
How to Mix Patterns! Outfit ideas to mix patterns and prints.

Wear a white top with anything. White tops are a big trend this spring.  It can be bright white, soft white, or ecru. Wearing white from the waist up makes any outfit look fresh for spring. For extra pizazz on a button up white blouse, leave the top one or two buttons of your blouse unbuttoned, and slip a chunky gold, silver, or bronze choker around your neck. That necklace is right on trend for spring.

Take a look at your handbag. Is it looking tired? A handbag could be a great first purchase this spring. Go ahead and shop for it now and start wearing it right away. Look for bags with chain straps (if it’s not too heavy for you) or choose a color that stands out. Bags offer pops of color, which will be uplifting and a great way to inch toward the arrival of spring.

If you would like to see the full Spring trend list for 2020 shoot me an email and I will happily send you the entire list!

Would you like my help? I can help you create lighter-looking outfits from your winter wardrobe, or we can head to the stores and do a little shopping for pieces that will serve you for spring and summer. Believe it or not spring fashion is in the store full force.  Just give me a call and we’ll get started!

Spring Fashion for the Rest of US!

I’ll be the first to admit that after researching the 2018 Spring/Summer trends, a lot of it looked a little “out there”!  Like costumes or fashion that you would only see on a runway model. If you viewed any of the runway shows online, you may be feeling intimidated or it may even make you want to give up on updating your wardrobe altogether. So I wanted to give you some ideas that may feel a little more realistic for your lifestyle so you can go into spring with confidence instead of dread.

Adding a few new things to your wardrobe can really make you feel refreshed and rejuvenated for spring so I’ve created a list of things to avoid that are over the top with things to try that are better suited for the rest of us not on the runway or on the pages of a style magazine.

Navigating Spring Fashion Trends

Avoid: The plastic boots (really?? what a strange concept!)
Try: An open toe bootie or a lace up bootie

Avoid: The large logo branded shirt
Try: The smart looking tailored or creatively cut white shirt

Avoid: The multi-multi-layered look, i.e. dress over blouse over pant plus a jacket
Try: Two layers or a one-piece jumpsuit layered with a fun necklace

Avoid: Layered multi chokers
Try: Layered pearl necklaces

Avoid: Oversized multi-patterned and multi-colored pantsuit
Try: Mixing prints with two items, i.e. a navy/white stripe cardi and navy/white polka dot top

Avoid: The corset belt
Try: Skinny leather belt or multi skinny belts intertwined

Avoid: Socks with heeled sandals
Try: Oxfords, wrapped sandals, or fun pair sneakers

Avoid: Large logo purse or clear rubber purse
Try: Large tote or a fun fanny pack or belt purse…yes! they are back.

Avoid: Cartoon prints
Try: Floral prints or black and white polka dots

Avoid: A slip dress as it’s not age appropriate for most of us and looks best on a model
Try: A fun shirtdress, a maxi skirt, or even some palazzo pants

Avoid: The turban hat
Try: Straw floppy hat with sun protection

Avoid: Heart and crazy shaped sunglasses
Try: Aviator sunglasses

Avoid: Splatter paint denim
Try: Dark denim with a fringe hem, or denim with applique

Avoid: A dress with feathers
Try: A dress or fun top with ruching or an Asymmetrical neckline

Avoid: See-through plastic garments or exposed undergarments
Try: Garments made from silk, linen, cotton, or blends; OR try the all white ensemble

Does this still seem challenging? Trust me, there is great fashion that will suit you perfectly and raise your spirits and confidence. I’d love to help you find it!

Fall Savvy News Oct 2016

Fall Savvy News
Greetings!

I am so excited it’s fall and time for sweaters and boots!  It just feels so cozy and relaxing.  Our crazy CA weather is both cool and warm but it still has a crisp, fall like feeling in the air.  There has been a lot going on with Such Savvy Style that has been keeping me busy.  I recently returned from a certification program in Atlanta where I became a certified corporate consultant in image where I help professionals and corporations focus on the ABC’s of image — appearance, behavior and communication.  Because of this, I have added a third division of my company Carrie LaShell Consulting.  The focus of this division will be on providing professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners as well as corporations the tools they need to take a deeper overall look at image within themselves and their organizations.

My latest article below takes a look at some examples of the ABC’s of image.  I hope you enjoy it and are able to see how image is so much more than just the clothing you wear.

The ABC’s of Image

We often talk about the appearance side of image but imagine all the other ways you are making first impressions with your image. It’s not just your style and appearance; it’s actually much, much more. It’s what is called the ABC’s of Image — Appearance, Behavior and Communication. All of these are pieces that play a part in the first impression you are making.

So often clients come to me and ask me to help them “up” their image game so they can move to the next level in their career or their business, but many times after we refine and polish the image there are still little details that could use improving as well. How you behave and communicate also impacts your personal image. Not only are people making a first impression on you based on what you are wearing but also how you are behaving and how you are communicating!! UGH, isn’t that a daunting thought!?!

Body language is a perfect example.  Have you ever been witness to someone who is clearly unaware that their actions and body language are making a clear statement about how they are feeling? They aren’t saying anything but you can tell how they are feeling by their non-verbal communication.   I bet a lot of us have been witness to this as well as been unaware that we have done it ourselves. I know I have as my Mom is always eager to point it out!  Imagine you waiting in a long line at CVS that isn’t moving and the clerk is moving at a snails pace.   It’s pretty easy to breath heavy, roll your eyes, shift your weight, cock your head with a look of irritation. Now imagine you are giving a presentation at work. You feel like everything you are explaining is crystal clear but a member on your team has a million questions.  It’s how you handle yourself in that situation that’s most important – important that you don’t show how annoyed or irritated that you are with the above behavior. Believe it or not, it’s not as easy as you may think that it is to hide your feelings.

Here are some good things to do.  Try to either smile as it denotes warmth and openness or try to keep a neutral poker face. A neutral face isn’t always easy so another option would be to give a small head nod and make eye contact with the person. It doesn’t always mean you agree, just that you understand what is being asked or said.

There is so much that goes into one’s image. It’s important to take a look at yourself as a whole — not just your appearance but how you interact with people in business and personal situations.  Are you able to meet new people and engage with ease? Do you know how to make an elegant exit? When you dine out with colleagues do you feel you are showing the best representation of yourself? Are you aware that others may view your relationship with your cell phone use as a problem at key moments? Helping men and women with their appearance is a passion of mine but I also love helping individuals and businesses create the best overall first impression possible. Career and personal growth happens when you are feeling on top of your game and self-confident.   If you feel you or your company could use some coaching or training in the ABC’s of image I would love to speak with you.

First Impression
Make A Statement Without
Saying a Word

Think about how often you watch or look at someone and make a judgement about them based on how they appear.  The truth is, people are doing the same to you.  Wow, isn’t that a thought!  There is new research that shows that you only have 7 seconds to make a first impression.  This means you must show up looking your best and how you want to be perceived.

Here are the Top Three Elements of Making a Great First Impression:

1.  Fit – Wearing clothing that fits you properly is key.  This means your pants should not sag in your tush, buttons should not pull, skirts should not be too short or too long and jacket sleeves and hems need to hit you at the right place.  Nothing makes you look less credible than clothing that is too big or too small, or too long or too short.  I recommend buying clothing that fits your largest area and then having a tailor alter to fit any area that is too big.

2.  Color – You want to wear colors that are your most flattering and in harmony with your hair, skin and eyes.  This means the colors blend in with your natural coloring.  Wearing the wrong colors can make you look older and lifeless.  Your skin tone can actually look gray if you are wearing colors that aren’t your best.  Try wearing your eye color as that will always be one of your best.  Teal is a universal color so everyone will have some shade that looks great on them.  Also keep in mind that people love black because they feel it’s figure flattering, however it is too harsh of a color for many to wear around the face.  If you have lighter hair and complexion think about wearing a softer brown, gray or a blue as neutral instead.

3.  Personal Brand – You are your own personal brand.  This is how others see, feel and experience you.  It’s how you show up in the world and how you will be remembered.  You are your own walking billboard.  So it’s important that you take some time and think about how you may be seen by others.  Often we don’t know what our brand is, or what we want it to be; or we think people perceive us one way when in reality we are being seen very differently.  I recommend spending some time thinking about words that express how you want to be seen.  For example: credible, conservative, approachable, elegant, sporty, powerful, fun or dramatic just to name a few.  Once you have words that create your style story you can start to dress in a way that projects that story and create a personal brand that is unique to you.

If you can think about these three elements when you are purchasing new clothing you will be well on your way to making an amazing first impression!

5 Reasons
your underwear Doesn’t Fit

Ok ladies, I know this has happened to you at least once in your life.  You leave the house and realize your underwear is sliding down, bunching up, creating panty lines or just down right uncomfortable!  Here are a few reasons you might be having a problem with your undies.

1.  You are wearing the wrong type of underwear for your body.

Solution: There’s more than one style of underwear – wear the type that fits your body best.   You may need to get professional help to figure that out.

2.  It’s too tight or too small

Solution: Know your size and buy the right size.  If you don’t know your size, get properly fitted.  Wearing a panty that is too small will create bulging, lumps and bumps.  Wearing underwear that is too big will cause them to slip and slide.

3.  Your underwear is old or shot.

Solution: Replace it regularly.  Your panties have an expiration date – roughly the same as your bras (72 wears).  Now, ladies I know some of you may have a very favorite pair but if they are old they will only be YOUR favorite pair.  To others it will look tattered and it will not fit you properly.

4.  It’s the wrong material for the outfit.

Solution: Some outfits need shape wear or a seamless smooth material to fit smoothly under fabrics to reduce friction or keep lines from showing.  How many times have you seen a thong or other kind of panty underneath a pair of white pants?!?  Yikes, not a good look at all.  Make sure you are not able to see your panty lines in the pants you are wearing…no matter what their color.

5.   Too many embellishments (bows, rhinestones) can show through clothing and create lumps and bumps.

Solution:  Keep sexy panties in the bedroom or under clothing  where it won’t show.  We all have fun underwear but let’s face it, the rest of the world doesn’t want to see the bumps from your rhinestones panties.

Welcome to Such Savvy Style

Greetings!
WOW!  Time sure does fly!  I haven’t written in awhile as life has been a little crazy.  If you can believe this, my car, with Such Savvy Style logos plastered all over it, was stolen!  It was recovered but boy oh boy that was quite an ordeal!!  Who steals a girly car with logos all over it?!?!   Anyway, now fall is here and it’s about time to start changing the closet over.  We are still pretty warm here in CA but most other places are pulling out the sweaters and boots.  For all of us here in CA it’s coming and I am ready!
IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT CLOTH!!!!!

If you are a client with outfits on the Cloth app on your iphone you may recently have experienced some difficultly or missing pictures.  With the ISO8 Apple update the Cloth update is having some problems.  I have been in touch with the owner of Cloth and he has all the updates submitted to Apple.  They are currently just waiting on approval from Apple.  PLEASE DO NOT delete the app.  Once the update is approved (any day) all your pictures will return.  Let me know if you still have problems and I would be happy to try and help.

Your Personal Style is Trendy!!

This years fall trends feel like anything goes.  Not that there are not fun trends but lines seem to be becoming more and more blurred.  What I am seeing more and more over the years is that the trend is YOUR personal style.  This is really great because you are now able to dress in a style that really reflects who you are.  If you love animal print great, if you are more artistic there is a way to create a fashionable trendy look, and if you are more traditional and like sensible clothing with more tailoring you are in luck too!  The key is really taking the pieces you love and making them work for you and your own personal style.
White House Black Market
The things I am loving for fall are: textured and patterned sweaters; jumpsuits (although since I am short they are hard to find); all the amazing winter coats; eye catching prints and patterns from animal, to floral to stripes and lines.  I am so happy that mini skirts are the rage as I love them with tall boots and tights.  I also love printed pants as it’s a great way to keep outfits very interesting.
Banana Republic
So what am I not loving?  Well, I’m not as much of a fan of the boyfriend lace up flat shoe.  I think they are very cute but it really must fit your personal style as they tend to have a very unique look–a look that is not me!  So if that is your look you will love them as they are very comfortable.  I also feel like the sporty pant (which is gathered at the bottom) that seems to be so popular is hard for many people.  In order to pull off this look well, you really need to be tall and thin.  Once you add some curves to those pants they have a tendency to look more like pajamas!  I agree they are super comfy but flattering on most they are not!

Of course I am loving all the orchid and green colors in the store.  It’s actually a pretty nice blend of color choices this season.  I would say the one thing that is missing from the colors for fall is a lot of teal–it such a great color for everyone.  However, the purple and greens that are in the stores seem to be offering a lot of choices.  Remember when choosing a green color if your skin has warm undertones choose greens with more yellow in them, and if your skin is more cool choose a green with more blue undertones in it.

What I will say, is that there seems to be something in the stores for everyone this season.  If you are ready to shop for fall and feel a little overwhelmed by all choices and variety let’s shop together and I will help you make sure your personal style matches your purchases.

Ten things to update YOU for fall!

For some of you the end of summer feels a little sad.  Fewer vacations, more routines and shorter daylight hours.  Well here is a list of ten things you can do to update yourself and hopefully give you a new outlook on YOU for fall.

1.  Have a non- invasive mirco current facial from Kris Holland of Totally Skin.  "You cannot replace your face" according to Kris.  I love how my skin looks lifted and brighter after I have a treatment.  The before and after is pretty amazing!

2.  Change your make-up for a new fall look.  Try a smokey look or add in some fall earth tones.  I always feel fresh and new with a new color of lipstick.  If you are feeling like you need help I am happy to help with your own current make-up or with LaShell Cosmetics.

3.  Create some new outfits.  You don’t even need to shop for this.  Just use the clothes you already have in your closet.  Start with one item that you want to create an outfit around and build on it.  Make sure you layer, use interesting color combination, add in prints or interesting detailing and accessorize!

4.  Get a new hair cut or color!  It can be drastic or minimal but a visit to the hair salon is always a great way to update your look.  If you need a stylist I recommend Stefani Martin at Sola Salon in Walnut Creek.

5.  Buy a fun new pair of shoes.  Interesting shoes are a great way to keep outfits updated.

6.  Clean out and reorganize your closet.  It’s time to start putting your very summery items away.  While you are doing this, you may want to retire things you have not worn this year.  When adding your fall clothing back in make sure it all still fits and you like it.  No sense in adding it back in if it’s going to take up prime real estate in your closet!

7.  Once you have added your fall items back to the closet you can create a shopping list for what’s missing.  Make a few purchases that will make you feel current and amazing about yourself.

8.  Treat yourself every now and then with a massage or a pedicure!  I love Kristin Kohs for a massage from the Sanctuary and always feel refreshed and centered afterwards.

9.  Buy new glasses.  If you wear glasses maybe it’s time for an update!

10.  Try something new!  Get creative with your clothes and see what fun outfits you can put together!
