As an Image Consultant, Carrie has found the perfect way to combine her lifelong love of clothes, makeup, and accessories with her desire to make a difference in women’s lives. An expert shopper at an early age (as a little girl she wanted to “own an Nordstrom” when she grew up), Carrie initially gravitated toward a career in the fashion industry, selling accessories to—yes –Nordstrom, as well as other high-end stores. Yet over time she realized she wanted to connect more with the women around her, raising their self-esteem, as she’d done right after college, running a cheerleading camp. She left the fashion industry to open and operate a women-oriented gym, Curves, where, as an involved and proud owner, she learned how important it is to help women see the beauty in themselves and fall in love with who they are.

As her enthusiasm evolved, Carrie founded Such Savvy Style in 2008 to improve women’s lives by giving them the tools to look and feel their best. Her goal is to help you find your own style and to add the finishing touches that will make you feel fabulous about yourself.

Carrie is a member and Past President of AICI (Association of Image Consultants International) SF Bay Chapter and is a Certified Image Consultant through the Stoltz Image Institute and Style for Hire with Stacy London. She has been certified in color analysis, body style analysis, personal shopping, as well as closet and wardrobe training. After becoming an image consultant, Carrie recognized the need for make-up education. She became a Certified Make-up Artist and created LaShell Cosmetics to educate her clients on proper make-up techniques and color.  Recently, Carrie appeared on numerous TV shows on NBC, ABC, FOX and the CW and released a International best selling book, The Outside/Inside Magic of a Great Image.
